What Heartland did is kinda par for the course with most of them. But then again, that's why everybody here doesn't work for them. Lol.

Joe on the Extreme side how often do those drivers get home? I assume as long as there is a concert to set up they must be on the road and the way some of these concerts go it could be a long time. Do they have to set up the stages or does the performer have a crew to do that? Always wondered about that.

Most of that is union labor, set up/etc. and home time depends on the tour. Over here it's kind of unique because when they aren't running tours they have the option to run freight and make money.

I see you guys are all staying busy. I almost applied for residency in Whitehorse since I have been stuck there for days. I have broken down so many times on this trip that I was not sure if I should laugh or cry. I had my Alaska load cross docked in Whitehorse since I could not take any more parts of the trailer to limp it down the road. I was politely asked to park in Watson Lake, YT the day before after I had come to the scale with the right rear chained up and wheels laying on the cat walk. I guess it is a good thing that I am on a first name basis with everybody that works at the scale. So no ticket or out of service violation, but he would not let go into town to the shop either. I bob tailed from Whitehorse to Anchorage to pick up another trailer and parts to fix the one I left behind. The positives on the trip I met an awesome Cummins mechanic and was offered a job to pull wrenches again. I learned a lot about the ISX from him. This guy works like a mad man. He has worked already 1300hrs this year and is hoping to gross over $200,000. I guess the money in the Yukon is unreal for good mechanics.

Looks like a 4.9 about 40 miles sse. Enough to get your attention, but not much damage...

It just shook the building. That just goes along with the week I had so far. I guess I should go out and see if anything has fallen and smashed my truck. I guess Alaska is prime earthquake country.
