Must remember to avoid Arkansas I40 till construction is done!
Last 2 trips I've parked for over half an hour on the freeway. Either avoid it or remember to take the state highway bypass.

No Pete, I-90 through Illinois is always under construction. Like 50 miles. In a row!!! I swear it takes forever. They shouldn't be allowed to do that especially when they are charging us to use the stupid thing!

then i try to miss the tolls so as not to get the fish eye from the boss
would only be worse if they put the atlanta circle jerk aka 285 under constructionjoseph1135 Thanks this. -
Arkansas has a long stretch east of Lebanon being worked on. I think they are building a new eastbound side.
Then another long stretch west of Little Rock that was hit by a tornado a few weeks back. People were rubber necking the damage next to the road. -

285 in Atlanta was yesterday's mess.....

yesterday morning started on the eastern shore of md
722 miles to Bloomington In and it was the fish eye for being an hour late for a 4 am
i swear those hills in WV slow me down worse then WY........sigh -
My dispatchers figure 550 to 600 mile drive shifts east of the Mississippi.
600 to just under 700 west of the river.
East coast dispatcher wants me to go get my old Cat powered truck back; it could pull those hills.
Going to see if the dealer will turn this Cummins up next week. -
Hey tow I finally ate at that truckstop on I-40 at
exit #35 in Ozark AR, last night. I had the BBQ
brisket that you recommended. Very good food
I would eat there anytime. No doubt the other choices on the menu are just as good. I will try
to plan my trips so I can eat there once in awhiletow614 and joseph1135 Thank this.
