Well this thread has been a little dead the last few
days so I am throwing a bone into the pot. I am in
Visalia CA, picking up a load to Lebanon TN. Did
anyone figure out why they closed down that I hate Heartland thread last week? They did not even give HOAT a chance to spout off some of
    his propaganda defending them.

    tow614 and joseph1135 Thank this.

    There you go !!! Lmao

pulled into yard this morning to have a full service and exhaust leak repaired....

    3 hours later I'm done......

going to run a couple of shorties until hometime Thursday and then a week off...

I eased back into it after my surgery... first 3 weeks back I had 9540 miles with 2 resets and $160.00 extra stop pay plus $25.00 for inspection.

Alright people you have been stalking me. I was at a truck stop a few couple weeks ago in Louisville Ky. and an SEC truck pulled in beside me and this yesterday I am in Bessemer Al. at a truck stop look behind me and another SEC truck is parked there. Are you taunting me?

    tow614 Thanks this.

crappy, crappy, crappy few days. Had to have our beloved 15 year old German Shepherd / Beagle mix dog put to sleep, spent nearly 6 hours at my next p/u then down to Wally-hell DC in Robert,LA where "on-time" evidently means "late"... as in you arrive at the gate on time, do all the crap the require of you (open the doors, slide tandems, back in, chock and drop and take papers to the CRO) but evidently, that makes you late!!!! So spend the next 8 bloody hours there...eventually get out get to Hammond,LA manage to find a space at the Pilot and collapse into bed. Now at my second drop here in New Caney,TX and pretty much expecting to spend the whole day here.

Still don't have any complaints about Holland though. Chasing my 70 for the past few weeks and STILL getting 3.2k+ every week. Thankfully, I haven't done too many Walmart DC's.....

Sorry to hear about your dog. Mine are getting old and I dread that day.

You have enough experience I don't even know why I'm mentioning it other than newbies reading, but Walmart is about that office window time stamp. It doesn't matter all the stuff before. I always got in the habit of showing up an hour early. At a minimum show up 15-20 minutes early or you won't make it. There have been a few close calls I rush through the gate, park to the side and check in the office, then do your docking. You do what you have to do for that time stamp. :)

Thankfully this is the first one I have had to do with Holland..it looks in the main that we deal mostly with foodservice places and the occasional grocery warehouse.....of course, foodservice CAN be nightmare-ish but I really haven't had that many problems with them to date.....

I'm on a 3008 mile run with 4 stops and just keep on chugging along. Hoping to finish the week out with something that puts me over 3500-4000. Sorry about your run of bad luck Chowick, and my condolences to you over your beloved family member. Here's to things looking up for you!
