You're right. The six points are my Michigan points; one more and my driving privileges are suspended, not just my CDL privileges. There were no CSA points because there was no inspection or accodent - the officer was not trained in commercial vehicle operations; he never even asked to see my med card or any paperwork other than the truck registration and was very unsure of himself. I guess I was "lucky" there.

 

No. Even though I was a paid member, I never even thought Michigan would respond the way it did to a Wyoming non-moving violation, so I took no action. Now, the matter is closed. You live and learn.

 

No can do. Because I paid the bail to Wyoming, I pled guilty; that's all that Michigan needed to impose the sanction it did. The matter is adjudicated and closed.

 

I don't know, but probably not. I'll find out in March...if I have $150 to reinstate my CDL and they find me suitable to be reissued a CDL. The law they used was the same one used to punish drunk drivers and there's not much getting out of that sanction.

I made a very bad decision by taking no action other than pleading guilty. I learned a LOT.

 

Well I am not sure what happened to the load I was supposed to haul from West Monroe out to
Irwindale? They fixed me up though I am in Monroe now picking up a load to haul back to Lawrenceburg. Then they have a load for me
sitting at the yrd that delivers in Las Vegas. I
wont complain about that, plenty of miles to
keep me busy for a few days. It just started to
rain like hell down here in Monroe. Real nasty
thunder storm coming thru here right now.

 

Irwindale didnt deliver until next monday

 

That is what our dispatcher told me my next load
was on Friday. I found out he wont be back to work now till Thursday. This place I am picking
up here in Monroe is a mess. I am on standby
with a dozen other trucks. This stuff is killing
my week. I just did a 34hr reset over the weekend
I probably should have went home on Friday for
some time off.

 

I have 5hr left on my 14 today. By the time I get
loaded here this day is wasted. I got 124 today zero yesterday. Oh well,that's trucking. Hope I
dont lose that Las Vegas load. If they offer me another BS load I think I will just go home for
some time off. I been out almost 2 weeks. LOL

 

I will be out in the morning. Good loads will be coming out rest of the week..

Monroe can be difficult at times.. are you at the mill or riverbarge

 

I am at some warehouse down here on Jackson st
Its not GP its someplace that GP uses to ship roll
stock. I hope I dont run out of hrs sitting here.
