I saw a peterbilt at a truckstop yeaterday
-
ive seen freightliners, peterbuilts and volvos. the last time i drove for them it was 65mph
mikersv1 Thanks this. -
I think not sure but I think it is 62mph now
-
WSE was 62mph and US Xpress trucks were passing me on the highway I would say around 64 65 but not sure i was just curious, anything is better then 62mph, I remember saying I would pay $1k to get the truck turned up to 65mph. as long as the miles are better then WSE then I cant complain, I was driving a Mack (POS) that went 62mph only good thing about it was it had a APU on it. I only averaged about 1500 miles a week on OTR it was insane I would sit for some times up to 3 days before getting a preplan, So hopefully I will have better fortune with US Xpress for now

Our trucks go 65. We have Volvos, Freightliners, Peterbilts, and Internationals although 2008 was the last year for the Volvos they are being phased out. Trucks get turned in at about 550,000 so about every 3 years but there are some 2006's out there because the mileage isn't up there yet. All automatics but they are also getting phased out I got a 2011 Cascadia which is a straight 10 speed. Hope this helps.

They are phasing out the automatics that's weird. Being as tho that was a main pitch for the recruiter that came to my school. No Volvo's that's the biggest truck they had I thought oh well give me whatever will make me money. Thanks for the info. Any more will be appreciated. going to orientation on the 29

Im kind of glad to hear that they are phasing out autos my last run with Willis was up in the mountains in Montana and It did not like the snow At all. But Volvo's are probably one of the nicest and most spacious trucks I've been in what kind of peter builts are they
-
I saw a us driver in a 387 peter two days ago.
-
I forgot they also have a few KWs but the majority of the trucks are Freightliner, Petes, and Volvos.
