Hello everyone, I’m a newbie looking to enter the trucking industry and I’m passionate towards flatbedding..
I’m 41 in descent shape, from Las Vegas, and I have no issue to stay out OTR running at least a month or 2 without home time.
Shout out for the man @Chinatown
From what I’ve seen I know you’d give some advice to fit me.
I’m looking into Prime Inc. VS Roehl Transport VS Jones Brothers?
But I don’t seem to get much info about the latter two Specially the Bros!
I need a company to train with, get my CDL, and start a good career having a good management with enough miles and descent pay, of course as anewbie I’m not expecting big money infront. You get my point!

Jones Bros Trucking is ok. They have a drop yard as far east as Muncie, Indiana so that's some long miles.
I think you get $100 when you cross into Canada, but Canada isn't forced.
Wilson Logistics also trains in Missoula, Montana which is the city Jones Bros. Trucking trains in.
Wilson Logistics has flatbed and dry van. Wilson Logistics also owns Jim Palmer Trucking which also trains in Missoula, Montana. Wilson trains in Springfield,MO & Missoula, Montana.
Wilson Logistics Inc., based in Springfield, Mo., has purchased the assets of Haney Truck Line, adding flatbed and heavy-specialized freight hauling to its portfolio of trucking and logistics ..
One of the best flatbed companies is Melton Truck Lines. They'd hire you from >

BigDog Trucker and Lepton1 Thank this. -
Prime flatbed is probably good. I guess you would train in Salt Lake City.
Roehl is more regional for Southwest drivers. -
I did have my eyes on Melton but they don’t offer training and I’m not looking into getting my CDL outta school.
One more question.
If you’d put them in order for me which one should I aim staring by the 1st.
Thanks a lot again -
1st - Jones Bros. Trucking
2nd - Wilson Logistics
3rd - Prime Inc.
4th - Roehl Transport
I don't think you'd go wrong with either of the first 3 companies.
Roehl is probably ok, but I don't like regional and you don't seem interested in that either.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
God bless you -
