Does anybody know what's going on with Jordan carriers.

Ritchie Bros. is having a big auction in Atlanta, selling a lot of their stuff..
Did another carrier bite the dust or are they scaling back.. Their website is still up

They may be cutting back, but they are still operating. I saw 2 today loaded with steel and lumber.

All their trucks and trailers that I see in my neck of the woods are very nice and usually clean.

From what I heard they are downsizing. Flats and wind energy only.. I guess they are getting out of the main heavy haul stuff.
So that means there are 2 heavy haul outfits that have gone this week.

I just saw my first Jordan Wind truck last week. I asked a buddy who also hauls wind and he said They are promising big salaries to the drivers, but they are already cutting the rates they are paying the pilot cars.

Kinda sounds like another outfit we know....
Like I said I saw one of the wind trks. here in E. St. Louis Sunday when we came in. So when I heard and then looked at the auction site, kinda caught me off guard

Maybe just reducing their debt service? The cheap & easy money was great......until rates & volume tanked.

    passingthru69 Thanks this.

Well another board member said something about how cheap one of their new 13 axle setups went for.. I then went to the auction site and yea. New and old stuff all being sold..
