Judge grants class status to truckers suing Wal-Mart

judge has granted class status in a federal lawsuit against Wal-Mart that alleges the company discriminated against black applicants to become Wal-Mart truck drivers.
US District Judge William R- Wilson Junior made the ruling yesterday in Little Rock. The suit accuses Wal-Mart's system of hiring drivers is designed in a manner that tends to keep black drivers out.
Wal-Mart says it may appeal Wilson's ruling. The company also notes that yesterday's ruling only makes the lawsuit a class action and does not decide the merits of the case. Wal-Mart says it believes the suit will be resolved in its favor.
Attorney Hank Bates of Little Rock, 1 of the lawyers representing the truckers, says the class will include fewer than 10,000 people.
Bentonville-based Wal-Mart has about 8,000 over-the-road truck drivers.

Okay,in my opinion,this suit is Bull.Because I live 1 mile from walmart,in the store everyday,and I have seen dozens of walmart drivers that are colred,hispanic and all.
