    Oh, yeah.. no doubt about the capabilities of them, but the EFP just (at least from my perception) seemed more effective. I think of my own encounters, and how drastically different they could've been, had they been EFPs.
    Had a buddy who was a 12B with 4th ID... just got out less than a year ago. We didn't really talk about things outside the wire for various reasons... I think for both of us there was just a whole lot we'd rather forget. I know he mentioned RG31s a couple times... those came after me, though. This was back when we dressed out in DCUs with the M81 woodland pattern IBAs, and the uparmored Humvees were a fairly new thing, still... first saw them during KFOR back in '99, then didn't see them again until OEF. Everything else was a 998 series.
