That's a barefoot Stryker 490, an Astatic Red Devil D104E, a Wilson SW-2000, a Gripper antenna mount, in my 2001, modded F150 Lightning.

Hey, that reminds me that I have a pic of my pride and joy, the "Fox Pole" I built. 2/0 solid core wire (rolled with a vise and a mallet) and copper blocks drilled, tapped and soldered to it - has lasted for many years.
Adjuster is brass pipe with allens drilled and tapped into it, and some brass lamp parts. I recently put a rubber rain cap on it to keep the barrel dry. ABC barrel and PVC caps. It adjusts from low 26mhz to mid-28mhz. About 7" travel on the stick, which was a 102" whip cut down.

Hey, how are the SWR's on that? and when they start going high, blame it on the Quick disconnect. i have one, but ended up buying a breed love mount, and its amazing and easy compared to the one you have. fold over/quick disconnect as well.

Very high quality materials, engineering, and manufacturing. Antenna easily and quickly removed by hand.

Looks nice, I would think the antenna is too close to the cab and would cause high SWR issues.

Where did you get the radio bracket from?

I'm sorry but I don't remember where I got the brackets. I've had them for about 10 years. They are just pieces of aluminum formed into a 90 degree angle.

JL: Great minds think alike.:biggrin_25525: Love my L!
