you have some proof of this....?

preventables are just that preventable..... they use the same standered as the ATA.... safety violations.... they have rules if you work for them you know what they are.... service failures.... gee can't pu and del a load on time..... if not then why did you say yes to the per-plan....?
they have the same number of trucks and drivers year round BUT you make it sound like they cut back after Christmas and have 100's if not 1,000's of trucks just sitting around SOMEWARE for 2-3 months.... try telling that to the new drivers that have to WAIT in jan-feb-mar to get a truck

    TruckDuo Thanks this.

Here they advertise up to 75 cpm. That could easily mean "We'll start you at 32 cpm and see if you stick around 15 years to get 75 cpm."

Yeah, every few ads I read have these guys listed. Is there a program that spams their ads on craigslist for them? It would take a dedicated staff with its own department to keep up with all that.

Totally did not know this. Those companies have so many ads that if they were to stop, they could increase their drivers pay by enough to be significant. lol

Some people cannot put 2 + 2 together and come up with 4!

How do they run a seasonal business without "ever laying anybody off." These mega crap companies put that phrase in their recruiting adds continually. They spell it out for you but some drivers are to dumb to see it.

Retail hires about 750,000 seasonal workers but the trucking companies that deliver all the freight do not hire any. Just how does that work? Oh, I just told you.

After reading some of these posts it is no wonder that drivers are easily rolled by OTR trucking outfits.

so how do they get paid $4,000-$5,000...?
I see you still didn't post proof of this....?
did you...? lets see, usx has 6,000 trucks..... they don't add trucks in the fall sept-dec and they don't park the trucks they have (jan-mar)...
for your premise to work they would need to do 1.... well which is it...?

the only thing that changes (sept-dec) and (jan-mar) is how hard drivers work. as a truck driver you should know that

Craigslist does not charge for job postings, you should recheck your facts

When I ran a business & I had job postings on Craigslist, they charged me $20/$25. Most other things are free to post.
