Just a general question/survey,About getting ripped off By A broker on a load

    DISCLAIMER: To whom it may concern ,this post is not for suggestion of any violence of suggestions to such actions .Simply my opinion an thoughts
    Anyway,you picked up a load from a broker. you did what you were to do an got the load there no damage, on time, blah blah blah. you did a good job you took it for the team.
    So now the Broker was suppose to pay you,an the little SOB weasel did not pay you he /she stiffed you on the freight .
    1)What did you do?
    2)Has any of you actually went to that brokers location to get your money?
    3)What was the out come if you did?
    I have not gotten stiffed YET, BUT I have had it planned out for along time If i get banged in the butt on a load ,i will be making an appearance in person at said brokers house, office, or where ever he/she is to get my money.I have Friends in the skip tracer Business an can find theses people easy enough to go get my Bread.

    We all have dreams of doing things to those who we feel wronged us. Problem is if you go outside if what is considered legal or social norms the consequences can out-way the rewards. I suspect if you showed up at a business demanding your money they will either pay you or have you banned. Good luck

    With that mindframe the money you made on that load will have to bail you out of jail. There is protocol for that. That said, I will step back and let veteran owners teach you.

    I showed up three different times to collect payment. Outfits out in Chicago. All went past 45 days payment and went in for a surprise visit. Was polite and caught them off guard, but I doubt I would do it again.

    you are in the wrong business, maybe a florist would suit you better or maybe a taco truck.

    ALL of this is business, you do business things to collect, not stupid things that can get you hurt.
