Gosh...Goodness!! Why, thank you! Though I'm no longer on the truck,my spouse is sure burning up the roads. So, on behalf of him, and all the rest of the "good guys" that'll let me, We're so very appreciative of your sentiments.

On behalf of my husband I would also like to extend to you my thanks.

 

I once stayed out for 2 years without coming back home. Since i had almost no expenses, my bank account had tons of money in it. The only thing that made life easy on the road for me was that the company the i worked for took extra care of its employees. We got payed by the hour and got $30 everyday cash to pay for our food,also we were not allowed to sleep in the truck. The hotels were high end coz we needed secure parking for the trucks. We mostly hauled really expensive paintings (picasso, Chaggall etc) and other tradeshow items.


To this day i have never found a company that pays their drivers by the hour to drive otr. I only left because i got married and had made enough money to start my own business. My time is now dedicated to my family. I still miss being on the road.

 

that company sounds like one up here in the massachuset's area off of Rte 24, but they have K-Whoppers...........sleepers and straight trucks. US Art Company, Randolph, Ma
