First of all, I'm in no way connected or affiliated with Rand McNally....
I bought a used Rand 8" tablet, and it turned out to be faulty. Guy that sold it to me was saying that he didn't have time to charge it, and all the BS stories, and I fell for it. So, I had it charging overnight, and no joy...
So, I'm thinking, just for fun, let's call Rand...Called, a few minutes on hold and I got to CSR. He asked me a few questions, and I already had the account for 730, looked at the issue, and said: "Can I please confirm your address? We will send you the advanced replacement." What surprised me is that he never asked for a CC number, or anything to guarantee that I will actually send the old tablet back...
OK??? It is the right address...
"OK, we're sending you the tablet."
That was on Dec/23rd. This morning I received a brand, spanking new tablet via UPS...
Big thumbs up to Rand customer service....
Just a thumbs up....
