Just a tip for the rookies....

You mean to say there are other kinds of food than heat and serve?

 

I never did understand anyone who would buy anything from some guy in a parking lot.

Now OS&D, i sold some of that once. I was pulling a reefer and getting ready to stop at a loves for reefer fuel, i got on about 5 miles away and said, hey, i'm stopping at the loves for fuel and i'll be selling cases of hebrew national bologna for $10 a case...you should have heard the CB lite up, everything from people talking about what its made of, to some guy singing the oscar meyer song, lol.....i got there, got on and said, hey, im at the second pump from the building pullin a reefer! I went inside to get my fuel ticket and i came back out and there was a line at my truck.

Now i have to say, mine was not in the trailer. It was only 3 cases, and i put it in my fridge inside my cab because it was refrigerated and i needed to precool the trailer to -10...

Thats one thing ill miss about pulling a tanker. I cant really sell someone a bottle of 99% Cocamidopryl Betaine (the stuff that makes soap soapy!) or 99% tetrablahblahblah crap i cant even pronounce....
