You know in 2 months freight will pick up. It will be easier to get a job with someone else then. I would probably call around and see who would take you and how much experience they want. Get a composition note book and record all the info about the companies and the calls so you don't forget details in 2 months.

@Count FurFur I'm sorry you've been off to a rough start with Schneider. The good news is that you won't be stuck there forever, but in this case I strongly suggest that you tough it out until you have at least 3 months' experience after training. That, combined with the fact that springtime will mean more work, will improve your chances of getting hired on at a better carrier. In the meantime, you're doing the right thing by researching your next move.

Ahh the Mega’s.
20 years since I worked for one
And nothings changed.
The drivers they have sitting
3/4 days a week with nothing to do.
