    are those two company same (transam ,transport america) I ask because have been aproved from transam , but here is many bad feeds about transport america also I justa got my cdl any info will help thanks

    Trans Am will strong arm you in to a lease. Be prepared to possibly head home from the terminal early, instead of going broke there.

    I dont think there is a choice, they no longer offer co drriving postions to students, after training lease is the only option?

    Trans-Am bought out/merged with James Helwig trucking out of Rockwall, Tx. recently. They are not part of Transport 21..... A lot of e. coast and 100% auto fleet. Can you say meat loads?

    just left trans am a month ago, due to lease, and going broke. while i was there scuttle butt was no more company status for new hires. its a shame too, cuz as a company driver ta wasnt a bad place to work. and yep you see a whole lot of northeast usa, their trucks (kw 600`s and 660`s) are all automatics, and you will get to know the mid west slaughter houses very well. all in all not too bad.
