BCM is one of two primary computers that operate your Prostar. The BCM is behind the kick panel by your left foot and the connector for the diagnostic laptop is under the steering column. The other computer is the engine control module, ECM, located on the left side of your engine.

They plug their laptop into the socket under the steering column and update your BCM from their laptop. I believe International is up to their 30 some update on the 2011 Prostar. Your computer controlled truck needs routine bug fix updates just like your pc.

The edge of the gauge at the top of the picture is the applied air gauge. There is no load gauge; it would go in one of the punch outs beside the air gauge. I'm putting mine in as soon as I get a round toit. I bought it last winter and its on the one of these days list...

Lol...sighhhh it's always something, isn't it? :-( I don't know about anyone else but I don't wanna LOOK at my truck when I'm home! I just wanna have someone clean and detail it, have it serviced for whatever and have it brought around back ( valet) to me !!! Ha ha ha
i need to find a shop that knows electrical really well, seems for this area, they like to throw parts at it! I have a " parasite" somewhere that is making it overcharge n is causing havoc in my " fuse box" those " resettable breakers" keep taking turns on which is is going to have to b replaced ... :-( and no truckstop carries them, I have to get on gps n find a dealer if I run out..:-(
