I am just wanting to find out some more information about Crete. I will have 1 year experience in a few months and I am with Roehl right now so just checking my options. I noticed that Crete pays quite a bit more than I will be making with Roehl. The thing I like with Roehl is I can get every other weekend off.

(1)What is the fleet with the most hometime with Crete?

    (2)What is your overall experience?

    (3)What is the drop/hook to live load/unload?

(4)Do you take your truck home with you?

(5)Do they have a system to cool and heat the truck while the engine is off? If so how is it and does it break down much?

(6)How much NYC or Canada is there? I don't mind Canada but driving through NYC was enough for me.

Thanks in advance for your answers. Also if you are a person that thinks Crete is bad then let me know who you think is a better company (I don't really care to just hear Crete sucks at least give me some substance as to why)

Although I only have about 2 months in with Crete as of now, I can concur with the answers given. In fact, I not only haven't been to NYC yet...I haven't been to the northeast yet! Go figure....

Now that I am out of orientation and my old truck was finally retired at Lincoln, I'm running my tail off. Every day the last four or five, I've been bumping my 70. Today I parked at exactly my 70 hour mark. And last week, I only turned in 1700 miles....but the load I delivered Friday couldn't be submitted until late Saturday, so with that carry over, I'll be at like 4200 miles for this week as of Wednesday.

I've been pretty pleased thus far.
