In Fontana, waiting for a trainer and looking to go team when training is over.
One question... a fellow newby is from Northern California. Where do the NorCal Werner drivers park their rigs when they're home off duty?
Any and all information would be appreciated.
Just finished orientation

Depends on actual location, in sac theres the truck stop, but it costs, some take them to there house if theres enough room, in sac i can tell you plenty of places to park for a few days free.
ChargerChuck Thanks this. -
You can ask your dispather aswell he will tell you where you can and can,t park.

Thanks, Bill. Friend lives in Modesto. I live close to Fontana. What kind of runs do you do up there?

We have all read about all the bad the trainers do. What do Werner trainers say is the biggest problem with student drivers?
I'm not trying to open up a can of worms. I just want to know what kinds of things I should focus on doing/not doing when I'm in a trainer's truck.
Keep the comments civil. Just want to hear from trainers and other experienced drivers out there.
Everything has gone well with Werner so far. Just want to keep the positive trend going.

No advice on what to look out for as a new trainee? I guess I have nothing to worry about then.
Note to self: Experienced Werner drivers aren't keen on sharing information with newbies. -
read the threads, there is plenty to read.what you are asking has been ans. plenty of times, from multiple companies.
-
Sure, I'll check the threads on the other companies. Thanks.

Good luck, usually your tm and dispatch don't know jack about places where you can park, usually they charge you 10to 20 dollars a day for parking or up to 30 if you have a trailer ... Werner will not pay for that,as soon as you finish training take w/e load they give you... First few weeks if regional don't expect any loads longer than 400 miles. I'm already on my 3 week running j.I.t(just in time) loads my load milleage average is about 700 miles. With no down time at all. Werner can be really crappy work you ### off and make a name for yourself.
