Pretend for a moment that you are starting out as a Newbie, you put yourself through a 160 hour program and pass all the tests for your license. You paid up front for your school so you do not have the whole indentured servant company to work for. You want to be a solo otr driver and spend minimal time with a trainer. Where do you go to get hired? who do you want to work for and why?

According to SafeStat Watkins & Shepard has less than 800 power units . Why are there so many new drivers getting jobs there ? They must have a pretty high turnover . I guess newbies don't like handling carpets and furniture .
