Just Got A Call

I assume so? Who called you? Also,do you have to sign a contract saying you'll work for them?

 

I got a call almost within 5-10 minutes of finishing my application online for Swift. I was pretty shocked to get a call and an e-mail. All the information sounded really good. This was about 3-4 weeks ago, and i wanted to get into class as soon as i could, but i didnt want to jump into anything. I am now scheduled to start class in Lewiston, ID August 13th. Sucks i have to get there by bus, and have to leave 2 days in advance. But hey, the ride is free. If i cant handle 2 days on the bus, i cant handle a week in a truck. I applied at several different places. Swift, Schneider, MCT. A few others require you to already have your CDL license, and you just go thru 2-3 weeks of orientation. Swift and MCT pay for your schooling provided you drive for them for a year. Just got to remember it is a JOB. It is better than a 9-5 job, because you get to travel the country, see some pretty sights, not have to pay rent =)
