I just got accepted to the Flatbed Division "Texas Region". Can anybody out there that runs in this division tell me what to expect in miles and what States are consider the Texas Region? Also this home weekends is it like home late Friday and leave out mid Sunday to be at the consignee by Monday morning be right off of a fresh ten hours break and have a fresh 14 hours to start your day? This is the way it was at my last flatbed company so actually your only off one day which is Saturday. The recruiter did tell if I wanted to be company or lease as well, but I want to be a company driver at least for a year or longer. I still have to call and accept this job and well get more info from her. Just like to hear from actually drivers that are out there working in this division. I still haven't accepted this offer since I also have an offer on the table to go to Schneider Bulk Division out of Houston.
Just got accepted to Prime Flatbed Division.

Never did the texas regional run but I did run into a handful of happy company and lease drivers on that fleet.
Lots of drywall loads, though.. -
I used to run texas flatbed. Most all my runs were out of Nashville AR with sheetrock and backhauls were lumber. Everything tarped.

Something tells me Schneider bulk would be a better company to work for

Only Schneider tanker do they pay % or cpm. But prime lease tanker lease pay %
-
% of what?
% of actual rate?
% of whatever your dispatcher decides to tell you?
If it's percentage of rate how low is the rate? -
Very few companies are actually honest about the rates unless the rates are in the gutter
