Just got an Anytone AT-6666

    Doing some research on these. Seeing a choice between 5/8 wave and 3/8 wave... which do you think would be better? Also depending on which size. Would I have to change the length of coax. Currently running 18ft or so of coax which is 1/2 wave. If I choose 3/4 wave antenna, would I need to get 3/4 wave worth of coax to keep the system balanced?

    They are all quarter wave antennas.
    The object is to reduce the coil losses as much as possible, and make the physical height as long as possible without going over your height restriction.

    So, I got bored with the Anytone....

    NOW I'm gonna be using a radio I'm familiar with...lol

    Will be installed Saturday before i get my Cali load
