If you disclosed it on your application and they still proceeded forward with you, I'd say no. If you didn't, and they find out about it, chances are they won't be so forgiving about the ticket. A 15 over ticket is usually a big no no with most companies. Good luck to you brother.

Yes I made sure I put it on my application. Hope everything goes as planned really need this Job.

You should be good then man. From what I understand, companies won't spend the time and money sending you for a physical and drug test unless they want to hire you.

Your fine, dont worry about it at all...One violation is one violation, nobody sweats that...You have to dig deep to find a company that requires NO tickets
If you dont get a callback, dont be bummed!! LIKELY someone with 5 minutes experience showed up and got the job..
I think my first no-experience gig was either tow trucks, or dumptrucks..Dumptruckin eventually led to pulling a trailer which led to bigger stuff
PM if you want more ideas or tricks...Down to help anyone not heading to OTR!!! -
Some companies will look past it especially if it was in your POV. Plus even though it's bad it's 1 ticket. Everyone screws up. Also it's past 2 yrs and looks like it's about to fall off. You can only get 3 big tickets in 18-24 months in any vehicle before they suspend it. 2 big tickets in a Comnercial vehicle will loose your cdl in 3 yrs. Technically when it hits 3yrs you have a clean record unless you apply like at Walmart or another A type job. You might meet the requirements but they likely will pass on you. But from here on out watch your speeding it's your livelihood.
Also lucky for you there's a driver shortage companies are a lot more forgiving. -
If you put it in your application and they still proceeded, no worries, but if you lied, they wont hire you. Employers can go up to 36 months in your report, so they will find out. Speeding tickets (15+mph) will make you get rejected. I mean, what were you thinking? We are professionals drivers, you should be above average out there.

Most beverage distributors are pretty good about stuff like that, one ticket like that won't mean anything. I had one ticket on my record (failure to obey a traffic control signal) when I entered this industry. It didn't amount to anything and mine was from 2011(it's since aged it's self off my record) and you're ticket is also a couple years old now as well, with jobs like Coke you're not driving fast trucks and you're not going very far, you're stop route will most likely be very dense you'll probably have days when you have a gas station, convenient store, gas station and other store all right on top of each other and you'll have 4 stops to knock out all across the street from each other.
I used to work for a beer distributor doing side loader (small format) If you were in the inner city like I was you don't drive anywhere get in the truck drive a block down the street boom you're at the next stop. Heck my Friday delivering beer I had 3 gas stations that I would hit at once boom boom boom all right across the street from each other. Coke won't be to much different then that. Even if you do bulk truck heck you could have a Target, Wal-Mart, Aldi and another grocery store all in the same shopping plaza and knock those out, you'll find beverage truck driving is more or less driving the truck across the street and across the parking lot and half way down the block.
