Your friend having a line of communication to the supervisor will hopefully get eyes on your application. Being up front about it will help you.

 

I appreciate that advice! Now on the application it only asked if I have a clean driving record and I put “no” but it didn’t have an option to put in detail of my tickets but I’ll be upfront if I do ever get a chance for an interview and I’ll come back here to tell how it went!

Update: I got a call this morning from Coca Cola southwest beverages (Fort worth TX) and I now have an interview scheduled for tomorrow morning. Will update with details afterwards!

Update: just did my interview I felt like i did well! They did not mention anything about my driving record but they asked questions such as: “tell me about a time where you failed” , “what made you interested in wanted to work for this company” , “this company requires customer service with handling product tell me a time or experience where you had a similar experience” , “tell me a time where you come up with an idea that worked successfully” in total there were about 10 questions and I made sure to answer each with a paragraphs worth for an answer for all and at the end they just told me what this position will consist of and how the schedules work and so on but they finalized by saying they will make a decision on Friday with a phone call so from there is where I find out if I get an offer or not

 

give them until "closing time" on friday to get back to you.

if they don't, do not assume they did hire someone......call them monday morning.
