Really? That’s awesome haha. I’ll be reaching out to all of these companies. & Yeah I have a lot to learn, can’t wait to get started.

Thank you! This was something I was on the fence about for a couple years but finally decided to go and get my cdl. Wish I got it sooner but it’s all good lol

    VinceBlack and dwells40 Thank this.

Ya, I hear ya. I too wish I had started this second career about ten years sooner.

If you are looking for a place to just ask newbie questions, there are a few of us in the FCC Fremont thread that would be glad to share what we know. But just posting questions in the new driver or experienced driver threads are productive too.

And of course whoever you sign on with might have a thread here too. Or just start one for your adventures.

Speed_Drums, VinceBlack and Nate.dogg Thank this.

I have more company names, but I think you have the best list now though.
    KKW seem ok.

Go with a smaller company. You’ll be much happier.
That KKW sounds good. Dry van yes. Reefer madness no.
Plan on buying a good mattress. When they’re replacing them a lot. They can’t afford the good ones.

He's a national treasure for anyone looking for a job, regardless of experience.

And he receives nothing in return but our gratitude.

It may sound funny, but thank you for your service, @Chinatown .

Unless you want heavy NE travel, best forget Dutch Maid. The recruiter there likes to lie and also give bare minimum info. on anything you may ask.

For a newbie..Swift is paying the $$ and is near you. $800.00 per week while with mentor. No charge for training w / mentor, etc. Crete requires 3 month exp. minimum. They use to train w / license but not anymore.

    MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

Google is your friend. Search...trucking companies that train with license.
