Just got my CDL but my license was suspended prior to getting it

If child support is a problem the State does have the power to take away any professional licensing a person paying that support may hold. Among other things.

If you absolutely hold a valid CDL as this time of day today, then you are looking at other employers. Remember there are thousands of employers.

just a few other nuts and tools flying your way. You have to go back 10 years on your record and your driving record if those suspensions, revokes and other problems are on there it's on there for a certain amount of time. Do not be surprised if a employer chooses simply not to deal with you right now. You might just be too "hot to handle" for the time being.

You also must maintain your medical card to keep that CDL Valid. It's all together now set in stone.

It also does matter what you do in your personal vehicle now that you have a CDL in your pocket. A few of those offenses will take it away quickly enough, one for life without ever getting it back (Drug related)
