Just got my CDL Class A license a few minutes ago!!

    You may have a slight advantage living in Houston but it is going to be tough going get a local gig with no experience. Whatever you do if more than two weeks go by after you have finished school and you don't have a job then you need to look into over the road. Otherwise you are going to end up taking a pricey refresher course!

    Thanks everyone for the great advice. I just posted my resume to indeed, simply hired, rigzone, truck flix and monster and have received 5-12 calls. I will definitely keep you posted.
