Welcome, BusDriver. My husband works at Maverick and we live in Little Rock. James E. T. (my husband) is a flatbedder.

@Dan, I think "CTD" might be a misspelling of "TCD" which is the Temp Control Division. At least that is the closest I can find for a driving job on the Maverick website.

@BusDriver and @Second Chance drummer, at this time, any time hubby is headed either to or from "home time", I am transporting him to/from the terminal (only one car working until get enough money to be able to see if his car is worth fixing) - my husband James' home terminal is the North Little Rock terminal. I am not around the terminal for long because he calls me when he gets to the terminal for me to pick him up - am sometimes there longer when he is getting ready to leave because I am usually helping him restock after we go to the grocery store (if he is on home time just after he gets his weekly portion of the paycheck). We stay around the drivers' lounge for a few minutes each time I am there (give me time for a cig and a coffee).

Not necessarily, I am the speller in this marriage and hubby is the flatbedder.

 

Well if that's the case, I guess I would have to quit flatbed I can't spell worth a darn. LOL
