Hello everyone! Just recently graduated like the title says.....I just graduated a 320 hr Commercial driving class A course at Florida State College at Jacksonville. I am open to any input and advice on starting my trucking career. I am 38yrs old with a decent driving record and more of a blue collar kinda guy. I def don't mind getting my hands dirty etc. Also I am very mechanically inclined also. No felonies but misdemeanors on my record which have been in the past yr.
Just graduated 320hr course and received my certificate!!

1) Swift Transportation has a terminal in Ocala Florida.
2) Perhaps you can apply for an OTR job with Swift Transportation, along with requesting that the terminal in Ocala FL be your home terminal.
3) Try & get ahold of @Moosetek13. He has been with Swift Transportation for 10+ years as an OTR truck driver. He should be an excellent source of information on both Swift Transportation & on being an OTR truckdriver.
