Just looked in google, it's tight, go futher and you'll see the docks. Backing should be no problem as long that there are no cars around the streets. getting there is anybodys guess.

I would hire a local daycab truck to pull it there, like I do with the Port of Los Angeles ;)

I278 x30 (Flushing Ave) - Left on Bogart St - Left on Moore St. You will see the docks on your left and will have to back in off the street. To get back out you will need to go continue on moore in the same direction (its a 1-way) - Left 0n Bushwick - Right on Flushing to I278. Looks like you will have problems if you go any other route.

This was one of the more difficult stops I have had to pull into... the mechanic across the street doesn't want any trucks on the sidewalk so its even more difficult to back in... he puts a huge metal grate there to block.... real nice... btw there is a low bridge on grand ave. that you fit through it says 13FT.

Ask customer if they want to pay for shuttle service, 53 footers are not legal in the city and 5 boros.

I have already delivered there many times.... I was asking because many people have been saying that driving in NYC isn't so bad... I have other locations that are just as difficult but this one stands out because of the tight streets and the amount of cars every time you make a turn...furthermore I have driven a 53 all over the city and never got a ticket for length.

They won't ticket. Just enforce it if you really do something stupid like hitting a parked cop car... Didn't happen to me but watched out happen and gotta say, I... Laughed lol

just looked it up on Google earth, not sure how you would get there, but if they can get that rainbow colored jumbo jet in the park 1 block to the left, surely you can get a truck into that dock. :biggrin_25522:
