Just how comfortable are you in the seat...

It all depends. You can get pretty basic seats that aren't very comfortable up to some pretty plush units with heat, massage, etc.

Pretty pricey though. I like the National brand seats myself.

 

Well, I would compare the seat in my Frieghtliner to a bucket seat in a sports car. the similarities being the shape. the differences... the truck seat doesnt recline much, has an air ride (back saver) and arm rests on both sides. my seat also has lumbar supports which help you get fairly comfy, however if you sit in that seat for too many hours at a time your butt gets tired of sitting, best thing to do is stop for a few every hour or too.

 

The seats in most trucks are MUCH more comfortable than your average car's seats, for all the reasons listed above- especially the air ride, and armrests. I have only ever sat in a massage seat outside of a truck (at MATS two years ago) but it was incredibly comfortable!

 

I hurt like mad driving more than an hour in my car. I was sure the truck would be awful but I could sit in those seats 15 hours a day no problem and no pain. I want those seats in my car!!!!!!

 

The seats in my truck are comfy, but when driving they feel like I have a large stone under my butt....and when I drive from the East coast to the West coast I try to stop about every 3 hours or so to rest my butt because that is the part that hurts the most...but overall my seats are comfy....

Agreed! OUR truck seats here at work are the best! Nice Air seats. They got my car seats beat....sigh

Okay so far they pretty much all said their seats are comfortable...

I do not want you all to think they are all like this... The truck I have now really bites... it has one adjustment and its up and down....

I hate this seat...

Truck has a few miles on it so I will be getting into a new one soon but until then it pretty much sucks.....
