Just passed CLP exam. Will I have to take another test when it upgrades to a CDL?

    I just passed the CLP exam. I am confused on whether or not I still have to take another written test or do I just take the pre trip /skills/ driving and be done?

    You're done with the paper tests at that point, at least in SD, might be different wherever you are and who you're training with.

    No, written tests should be done, unless you are addding an endorsement. Just the skills test left. pretrip, skills test, road test.
