Me either. No worries at all. I'm genuinely curious.

Cheat? You get stuck at a shipper for 3 hours and you can't make your delivery appt on time. So you're motive to adjust your logs is cheating the government? Did you vote for Hilary or something?

Again. You are missing the point. You don't cheat your logs. You invoice the customer for tying up your equipment. You should get to know your neighbor with the garage better and learn from him. Maybe he can teach you better in person. If he's up for helping his competition that is.

The law is pretty plainly written. Fudging numbers is cheating, and illegal, no matter how you spin it.

I did finish my first year taxes. I only owed 4k. I'm 37. I'll be out of the truck by I'm 40. I'm genuinely at a loss of words trying to understand other driver's logic. I just don't get it. Drivers work for carriers making peanuts and it's sad. They eat out of a gas station and live on the road. Ignorance is the enemy.

And with your extensive 18 months of experience, you've got the world by the short and curlies. We should all be as amazing as you, and #### the laws, right???

    Ruthless and DSK333 Thank this.

Couldn't tell you, bud. I'm a Carrier, CPA, Lawyer, Mechanic all before I reach the lowly status of Driver.

Ha! My neighbor works 4 am to 6 pm. He doesn't pass a weigh station ;) His record is perfect and his insurance is 6k for 12 months. I also know a few other just like him that murder it with profit. I'm just fixing to understand myself.

I'd rather not work 16 hours a day. Thank Dog you're able to rewrite History in that paper logbook though. That's where the real money is. Miles. Miles. Miles.
