I'm not so sure they "like" to live dangerously. I think an awful lot of these folks are just not bright enough to realize anything relevant about life. . .
Something I see our LE folks doing here when they find someone driving with a suspended or revoked license, is storing their vehicle. At the owner's expense. I'm not sure what it takes here to make it a "bookable" offense, but I do see them sending a lot of folks walking down the road after their vehicle is stored.
I'm just waiting for the lawsuit when one of these idiots gets hit by a car or hurt in some way. I'm sure that some lawyer can make it "the cops fault" that the individual was out walking beside the road. . .
But then I still have that CYA mindset that was drilled into me for so long. . .
Just some of the stupid things I see

Several years back the local scale gave me their stats.
40 DUIs year to date by Oct of that year. Now you can't really be very bright if you are
drunk and walk into a scale and expect to skate. -
Well, outterspace I know for a fact. Right wrong or in-between that Michigan is trying to check your cell phone. If you get stopped.
-
Well heck, if you heard it in a truckstop, it MUST be true.

Personally, I hate texting. That's for girls. Call me if you want to talk, lol. -
They simply don't give a rats arse! Sad but true. Insurance is a foreign word, and us dummys that play by rules....pay everyday for these idiots. Thank you for getting them off the road.

I was at a small truck stop on 276 in Pa, I pulled next to a car carrier loaded with new cars. As I was walking between the car carrier and my truck I noticed one of the cars was running! I knocked on the door of the truck (early evening) no answer. I waited about a half hour for the driver to show up, then decided to shut off the car while waiting for the driver. Tried to open the car's doors, they were locked. Got my maglite and shined it inside the car, there was somebody lying in the back seat asleep! Sometime during the night I heard the truck start up and leave. Never did find out who was in the back seat or if the car was still running.
