I was at a rest area. The pics of his nasty cab were taken from my cab. The tire photos were taken after walking to the restroom.

Has anyone had problems with Progressive insurance and a 500 mile radius? What's the deal?

I think that was the most awesome post! On page 142 the real question of the topic finally appears.

Spiegs03 I think truckersreport.com should be proud to have found a person who has never used a forum before. If you want some help just PM me, I can help you learn how to use this thing. No on the Progressive issue, I don't use them.

Saienga great on the bikes, sounds like fun but I need to do this rubiks cube thing been driving me nuts for at least 7 seconds now. LOL

So I have to throw a question in here because I see it mentioned so many times.

What happens when a driver has a unpaid ticket, or a no show ticket for something small like say a seat belt violation in california, but gets pulled over in Georgia, and has a Nebraska CDL where as far as Nebraska is concerned his license is valid, but California says suspended?

Does the driver get arrested and sent back to California? or does he have to pay the fine in Georgia? Or does Georgia even care because Nebraska says his CDL is valid?

I don't see how Georgia would care and Cali is about elevendy billion dollars in the hole so no way they're paying to transport you back there.

The way I understand it, if you are suspended in one state, you are suspended. Period.

This came up last year for a driver with roughly the same scenario as you hypothesize here, only his license was suspended in New York. It wasn't valid anywhere.

My understanding is that you get a ticket for driving on a suspended license from the state you are in at the time you are pulled over - on top of all of the other trouble you have. You get to park your rig where you're at - its basically impounded as far as you're concerned. Most companys at that point say, "So sorry, g'bye!" And you get to walk home.

Injun is correct... if you get pulled over in any state and your CDL is suspended over a ticket in another state (even if it is not the state your CDL is issued in) you are up the creek.

Maybe if you go to Bora-Bora...
