Canada has some funny rules, it sounds like.

Here are the US regs:

 

My spare tire has never been tied down. Just lays there, only time it moves is when I move it.

 

Unless they've changed the form in the last year the card is on page 2 or 3 of the long form. I always photocopy it (reducing it to wallet size when cut out) and then put that in my wallet behind my license. I always carry my long form anyway, when I was schneiderized I was told I always had to have the card on my person and my long form in my possession so I Monkey with it every time I get a new physical. None of the doctors I've ever dealt with gave me a separate card.

 

Yes on page 4 of the long form there is a large version of the card, but, I have always been given an actual wallet size card along with the long form until this time. I was just gonna do what you said and shrink the one on the long form down to wallet size to carry also.

 

That's not the only thing funny about Canada!

They would have to look inside the trailer to see it and that would be a first for me if that happen.
But I never had a headlight go out in front of an inspector either and got wrote up for that.
