Somebody was having some vegetable related problems today. Running across I-40 in Arkansas today and I see what looks like some squash scattered along the shoulder. A few miles on, there's bags of carrots in the hammer lane. A bit further, bags of peas on the shoulder again. This went on for nearly 100 miles. Never did see what they all came off of.
Just some of the stupid things I see

No, no it was not Les nor I, but an interplant driver that never see's a road other than whats in side the plant grounds. From what I was told he was backing to a door to either load or unload, and never stop to open the door.

Ok lets brake this down.
1. Arkansas
2. Vegetables of all kinds along the side of the highway.
3. Its early fall.
It can only be one thing!
Someone is seeing what vege draws the deer out of the woods the best.
-
Was they still burning the fields?
Wonder if that interplant driver got a DUI? -
Private property, so I doubt it. Probably got fired, though.
-
Yes they are.
I'd say no since they were mostly still in unbroken bags and a couple of boxes but ###### if there aren't deer out everywhere. Saw 30 or 40 of them on one stretch and drivers were saying that there were at least that many on their side too. Haven't seen any hit anywhere, though. They're just along the road watching us go by in the dark. -
Kaj, did you at least stop an make a salad?
-
Stop? What is that?
-
I would doubt it. His profile lists him as 35 years old. His "Salad Days" are behind him already!
-
says you, I still enjoy them (prefer them for lunch) at 51.
-
I still like salads, as long as I can drown it in ranch dressing. I actually wanted a salad after seeing all those vegetables strewn along the highway. I believe I turned some of them into baby food as I went by, but no salad.
