If his girlfriend was named "Bubba", well then .................yeah I let him see him at the local jail. No warning, 6 tickets. Before I dropped him off at the jail, he was recollecting on the events of the night. Tear by tear, at least he didn't urinate or defecate in my vehicle. :biggrin_25521:

So why does California still have split speed limits on federal highways? If Ohio lost the case why can't california change or have they not been brought to the table yet.

Hard to believe what I encountered today as far as suspended driver's. Stopped 10 trucks and 5 were suspended. Three others out for hours of service. So 8 out of 10 driver's out of service, 80%. Of the 10 vehicle's 3 of them were out of service. It must be a full moon thing. :biggrin_255:

Cali is more stubborn, and much larger with a bigger economy. More representatives in the federal government, more money generated from in state commerce, etc. Also one of the main reasons everyone used in the arguments was that through traffic, as in running through Ohio from one state to another state, shouldn't have to suffer for OH being stuck in the 1950's. Since there are no states beyond California (that you can drive to), that argument can't be used.

On the way home, we passed at least 5 trucks on the side of the road, some w/ triangles out.

What about nothing but straight roads and desert from barstow north on I15 and west on I40, also I5 and 99 mostly straight roads sometimes a few curves and some cities. 55 truck 70 cars seems real dangerous for car that's not paying attention and goes into the back of semi under icc bumper. Sorry for thread highjack just venting out loud.

Back on topic. The 3 guys that were out of hours were they over their 60/70 or the 14 hour rule? Where they close to home?

What was reason to pulling them over? Speeding, improper lane change, light violation, seat belt?
