How much is that gonna cost?

It's been years since I got that many things wrong at one time LOL.

My biggest hit was . No "CDL", over length, no log book, no bingo card, no insurance. Cost my company a tad over $75 and me a trip to jail.

Nope, never heard of UCR either.

Yes, we are computerized, and the tickets come off the printer. I did not write him every ticket I could have, I seldom do.

It doesn't do any good to write them every ticket. For the driver's that truly does the stupid things that are posted here, it is truly better to right them the disqualifier's and the heaviest fines. Because that is what catches their attention. 10 citations just tick the judge off that they have to go through that many. You hit them with two or three of the most serious charges, that is the attention getter. Especially if one is an automatic disqualifier. You are correct Bullhauler's wife, when I was still handwriting citations, you definately get a cramp in your hand. But with electronic, I buy a 3 pack of pens that last me a year now.

I think it's called "piling on" -- judges tend to look down on such things, at least those in So Cal did when I was doing that on the back of a motorcycle. Oh, and the NTSB Administrative Law Judges don't like the government piling on, either.

You put him OOS and on location and he drove off after you were gone? He never thought you would come back and check on him ? He didn't even wait a few hours for your shift to end?

And when you caught him again....he wanted to know if he's in trouble????

    LMFAO !!! Priceless.......

    Just got done with one.

Tractor registration expired 6 months, trailer not registered currently.
Overweight, tire troubles, log troubles, etc.

All 4 drive axle brake chambers were loose or broken off their mounts! He steps on the brake and they all flop up and down! I am surprised he could not hear all the clanging going on every time he stepped on the brake.

Driver does not understand why I won't let him drive it back to the terminal to get fixed (two states away).

    Go figure...:biggrin_2552:

I am just a driver but I got one...I pulled into the pilot off xit 51 on 285E in atlanta...I pull behind this daycab that was fueling and all I could say was..."How could this truck be on the road??" He had racing slicks for duels on one side on the drives and pretty close to slicks on the other...and well the other drive tires...well lets just say at least they were round... when he was done fueling he tried to squeeze between the fuel pump and the schnider trailer in front of him and ripped his passager mirror off the truck...wheres the DOT when you need them LOL..
