lol that's a new one. i was going through the northboundNC scale on i-95 coming in from SC, and they were spot-checking paperwork, back when i was with millis, and i was hauiling a load of beer. when the trooper looked at my BOL and i told him what i was hauling, he just looked at me as asked "can we have some?" i didnt know what to say to that. he just laughed and sent me on my way.

No one has heard from him that I know of since a couple posters went on a multipage tirade about how the entire thhread was calling them stupid. He is missed for his answers and amusing if scary reports of violations found.

I forgot about that. I talked to BHW and she told me she was trting to find him. I didn't get to read the posts as they were deleted before I arrived.

    Hope he comes back.

I contacted Mastertech and asked him if he would look at DB's personal account registration and see if there is a valid email that DB could be contacted at.

That was more than a month ago.............

I hope DB comes back as you guys said amusing stories and great information.

Just wondering if he was thinking why deal with the BS out in the world and THEN come deal with more BS here?

    Tazz and jbatmick Thank this.

Another non-english speaking driver. I start asking him questions and he just grabs his cell phone, hits a speed dial and hands it to me, like he wants me to talk to his dispatcher as a translator.

I tell him no way Jose (pun intended). If he and I can not have enough of a conversation to check his CDL and answer a few questions, he has a problem.

Now I am being a racist, according to his dispatcher.:biggrin_25516:

Exactly what I worried about everytime I was sent to Quebec. But my situation would have been worse as my Dispatcher doesn't speak a word of French either.:biggrin_25510:

Sounds to me like you're just doing your job, ScaleMaster. The rules do say "able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with law enforcement and the general public", or something to that effect.
