the times OD loads are permitted to run vary from state to state....most states require you to be parked by sunset....of course this is off memory...been a while since we pulled OD...LOL...

Having HAD an OFP put against me from a vindictive ex-wife.

You couldn't get me far enough away from her fast enough nor could you even begin to convince me to stand in the same court room with her.

What the hell was this guy thinking.

He should have been arrested purely on the stupidity of that action alone.

I can run most states after dark if I'm 10' or under all wide. Points of the load have to have lights on them. There are a few states that let you run wider but not many. Some states have differant regs for farm equip. Also

    Hope everything worked out.

We've been losing tires left and right. So have the other companies we run with. This heat is murder on tires. But I've been taking care of my truck and getting after the other guys to replace theirs. They'd gotten a little tired of dealing with it, a little complacent. Now we have most of the trucks up to snuff and a new account with another tire shop. Now if I can get the stubborn old retired guy to fall in, we'll have made a lot of progress considering the boss has been on his yearly vacation (not to be disturbed.) He might be a little miffed at the repair bills I've been racking up since I started but it'll be ok.

I warned the last guy I ran for about that. He blew me off. Then I quit running for him.

Got that policy here. Yeah, I'll turn the receipt in for reimbursement, thanks.

####, that's a tough one. You almost want to let them go, but if they get into a fight down the road, your butt is on the line for not busting him when you had the chance. Guess she should have gotten her CDL.

These 2 get my vote for "stupid".
It is a shame that they have just enough intelligence to find where they parked the truck.:biggrin_25521:

I know that the tires have been taking a huge beating with the heat and weather...

We have lost 2 heavy duty tow trucks (this is the industry in general) in Florida in the last month when the right front floats blew and the truck went off the road or overturned. This happened when they were emply !!!

    Please be careful out there.
