Just some of the stupid things I see

You have a valid point. When your put out of service because the DOT at the scales thinks your wrong, you are OOS untill you prove your right.

 

Let me guess you thought it was him because he was driving a crown victoria!

 

The gestapo at Minnesota scale on 94 on the Wisconsin border west bound, asked for the medical form.

It is where he was confirming that my license did not reflect that I needed glasses and neither did the long form. He was going to write me up for false documents since I was wearing them.

 

Yeah, I could see this happening in Minnesota. Pray they never inspect you.

I was inspected by the gestapo in Minnesota(I live there) and told I had an air leak. Really? I said, let me see... It was my air bag auto-leveler... I told the gestapo, "it's not a leak is the auto-leveler and will stop soon."

The gestapo says, "it's a leak and needs to be fixed ASAP". I say, "yes sir, I'll have it looked into at the next exit truck stop"... then turned around and rolled my eyes.

 

I have been inspected by them 3 times this year, lucky only level 3. Told him to write the ticket and I would be glad to see him in court.

 

How about every DOT has to go through a CDL course (And that means behind the wheel as well...) before getting a badge.....

 

I am ready to get off the road, and I would be interested in this.

Problem, I know where to look for log violations. Not wise.
