Only till you get to the next POE if your about 500 lb overweight on the rear or front and cop a fine. Having said that I was about 1200 lb over on the drives once as I'd slid the axles back to far and never bothered to re-weigh it, still don't know how I got away with it at the Ohio POE I guess the officer loved my accent
