I am looking at buying a Cascadia Evo in the near future and wanted to know is it pretty easy for the top bunk to be removed? I assume you unscrew a few visible bolts and it comes off? I know it folds up out of the way but I have a reason of why I want to remove it without going off topic.

It should. I doubt they installed it before the body was set on the chassis.
    Or, perhaps they did.

Just looking around my cab... without a large sleeper door that sucker will be hard pressed to get out.

That's a good point. I can always cut the bunker in half with my jigsaw or reciprocating saw if necessary. A jigsaw with metal cutting blade can do amazing things.

Likely easier and less mess to unbolt the passanger seat, remove it and slide the bunk out that eay.

So in our Volvo, we had to take out the side cabinets in order to get the bunk out in one piece. No matter which way we angled it, there was always something in the way to prevent it from coming out. The top bunks are smaller in the freightliners, so you might have better luck, but I'd think you have to take out at least one side.

use it for the base of your shelfs ...... always saws all it in half ... be an adventure getting it out in one piece. . hard enough changing mattress and that bends
