Just want to say hello

Hi from New England in the spring nothing more beautiful . I have been retired now for a year and miss talking to other drivers on the Nextel and CB. I drove for a small local we ran the 6 state region out of a single warehouse in southern NH . 14 to 16 hour days were the norm. Thank Goodness for paper logs . I'm glad to be retired and not have to deal with DOT Food warehouses and butthead receivers and dispatchers .I started listening and collecting audiobooks from every source I can get my grubby little hands on about 20 years ago I think they are the only thing that kept me almost sane in the last few years of driving .Any other collectors out there I would love to compare collections

I meant to mention that I have managed to collect almost 2000 books between what I bought connived swapped and old tapes I have gotten from yard sales and converted to mp3 .
I have even gotten some for the kids I transport to keep them entertained on the long drive. I go over on Saturday and putter in the wood working shop with Richman. He is 67 and I would challenge most young guys to keep up with him. Me I am a couch potato who is now trying to loose weight
