Depends. It is not worse than K & H, but that does not say much.

I rarely eat in any truckstop. Most of the time I have food in the truck.

 

as company drivers, ya we have to fuel where the company wants, but this doesn;t mean we have to spend our personal money there at the chain travel centers.
Support the ma n pa tk stops, for one of many reasons. if they close, chances are we lose more parking.

 

I try and buy most of the things I need when I am home. I hate spending my dollars at multi-million or billion dollar corporate truck stops. Yeah a lot of the drives like the amenities available, but they aren't worth the hassle of the big truck stops.

Your right that we have a choice in our personal dollars and all of need to support the smaller outfits. Some of the best truck stops in the country are small deals. Yeah the food may in some opinions, not be as good, but it beats the hell out of a Subway sub or a Big Mac.
