I knew they were obtuse, I didn't think they were braindead.

 

It’s been well known now for almost 20 years that “Kibbles & Bits” is a crappy company-and that was BEFORE the expose on “20/20” revealed their shenanigans!

Gotta love these "not-so" safety departments. No cruise at night while the headlights are on because the safety department (?) doesn't want their drivers falling asleep while driving at night.

All other companies want you to drive with your headlights on so you can be seen better during the day. These dumb-### safety departments have gotten insanely stupid.

 

There is cruise (64/65 mph)
Equipment is pretty new
"treat you like a slave" - pretty much, but you can go "Spartacus" on them and compel more respect/ less harassments.

Also, minimum pay guarantee is now over $1600/ week - probably the best thing about them.

I worked there and when people would as, "should I go there?" I would answer, "you could do worse, but why not raise your aim".
They had a $3000 referral bonus, but I never tried to collect it, out of self respect. Still, I would toy with the idea of going after CRST and such drivers but then would think, "it would be morally wrong for me to contribute to the worsening riff-raff ratio", so ...no bonus for me. There were some drivers making an extra $20k per year for referrals. I would apply the legal term, "moral hazard" to recruiting bonuses and also "pay by the head" recruiting departments.

 

But there IS a way you can make that recruiting bonus. Identify the drivers you despise, then bring 'em on! K&B keeps the reputation and you make some extra scratch. Win-Win!!

BIG QUICK PAYING SIGN ON BONUS!!!

At K&B for our Midwest Regional drivers that are out anywhere from two to five weeks (depending on area you live in) with very good home time. We pay .60 cents per mile starting off, .61 cents per mile from
6-12 months, .62 at one year, .63 at two years, and our 2,500 miles per
week guarantee stays. Which means if you get under 2,500 miles per week
K&B will pay the difference in the miles to get you to 2,500, but our
drivers are running approximately 3,000 miles per week plus.

We also have a "Road Warrior" fleet. If you are willing to
stay out 8 weeks at a time we will get you 10 FULL DAYS OFF at the
house. PAY YOU .70 CENTS PER MILE, guarantee you 2500 miles per week,
and they run between 2800-3000 plus miles per week. It is GUARANTEED
$1,750 per week on a low end. This is an $95,000-$100,000 plus per year
job!!

Along with those two fleets above we have some dedicated out two weeks and home weekly positions available in certain areas, and home weekly positions in certain cities in the midwest.

K&B is turning the fleet over with new trucks phased in every month till
we are new across the board. He have Freightliners that are very well
maintained, and equipped with APU's, refrigerators, and CB's.

You will be more then a number here at K&B Transportation. You tired of
your dispatcher not being personal with you, or just thinking you are a
number on his board? At K&B you will get to know your dispatcher on a
personal level. Our Owners and VP are very hands on, and have an open
door policy. You will see both owners and VP every time you are in the
yard.

Tired of wasting time sitting in an orientation???? Come to K&B where
our orientation is a day and a half.
