kb transportation has got to be one of the worst companies to work for.

 

Treat you like dirt - micromanage you to death - get fired if late once (due to their bad directions) unreasonable (if you don't respond immediately) even if you are in the bunk after a 14 hr shift

Older trucks, dirty inside when assigned, steal from you on your last check, jerks!

 

I just thought their dispatch was kind of disorganized and erratic, take them all day to find next load, then you would have to drive all night, never could figure out when they wanted me to sleep. Most of them were kind of nice, took some convincing to point out maintenance issues. I just did not like going from days to nights then back to days, start a run, then midday relay it off with someone else, sit around for 8 hours, then drive all night. guarantee 2500 miles, I can see why, never let you run, just sit in truck stops all day waiting for dispatch, everywhere you go K&B trucks sitting in truckstops.

 

DOT I guess does not like these guys. well those kind of people can be alot worse sometimes. I question their honesty at times as well, not sure how many times growing up I got worked over by law enforcement people, always had alot of respect for the law in a way, remember taking a cops billy club away from him once as I was tired of the little chickenshits beating me over the head with them. Thats what I liked about Moscow, Russia the traffic police had nothing but a little white baton and were not allowed to carry guns. Give them any crap and one call and shortly thereafter the militsya would be there , the experts at dealing with disrespect, bet your ###, these people do not believe in going to court. They shoot you in the back of the head, no trial, no jury, no jailtime, dig a hole and bury you. Alot less paperwork that way.

 

Any update since 2012?

 

Wondering the same thing, I haven't seen much of anything since about 2014 with the whole run hard get paid thing and that was clearly his fault for taking a load after not sleeping. This isn't a mega carrier and you don't see many of there trucks atleast not out west or east coast so you know there not recruiting 100 drivers a week like the Mega's are, so they must be doing something right. I plan on starting a thread soon I have orientation Monday and will be sure to let people know how it is now.

The driver got disgusted and quit after a month. By all means make you own thread. Hopefully your experience will be better.
